Top 5 Favorite Oils
It's so hard to pick favorites when they all do different things. It's like picking your favorite tools. I mean when I need a hammer I don't want a drill. But if I must pick here they are.
1. Frankincense: it smells good, it makes me feel good, it raises my frequency (that's a thing yall. Look it up) and it smells like my husband. So when we are apart the smell makes me feel calm and safe.
2. Northern Lights Black Spruce: It keeps my dream alive. Now if you are dreaming of retirement on the beach with a coconut oil tan and double fisting margarita's NLBS might not fuel your dream. But my dream is a mountain cabin. Cold night with millions of stars. Hot chocolate, flannel shirts and an awesome Jeep. So a deep inhalation of spruce takes me to that place. It fuels my dream. Between work, church, kids, more kids, dogs, chickens, and all the rest of real life sometimes I just need to go in a closet with a bottle of oil and fuel the dream in my heart.
3. Cedarwood: It just smells so good. and it does double duty. I love to put it on my head. I know, Im weird. Just go ahead and get over that. I know that King Solomon was known as the wisest king to ever rule and he built his temple out of cedar. Surely not by accident. So I anoint my head with Cedarwood and pray that God will give me wisdom to get through my day. Well turns out Cedarwood is GREAT for your hair. So I think that a sign! #doubleduty I can hear it now "There goes Erin, she is so wise and has fabulous hair." A girl can dream.
4. Deep Relief: I tend to carry stress in my neck and shoulders. I basically just need a 60 min massage every night before bed. #goals. But since that is not my reality I use the deep relief to keep those muscles relaxed and to help me let go of that tension. Some days it gets me through the day.
5. Peace and Calming: Need I say more? No. You moms get it. There are days I'd cut off my left (not right) arm for some peace and calming in my house. You get a drop and you get a drop and you get a drop...
Drop me a line and tell me your favorite 5.
